Release 27.02.2024 SMART20

Post by se:community »

The current release includes the following changes and functional improvements.

Integration of Disruptive Technologies Sensors

With this version, se:connects is able to implement sensors from Disruptive Technologies. This supports different types of devices and use cases. E.g. occupancy detection at the workplace or measuring the room climate.

csv import/export with multiple relations

Due to the fact, that it is possible to use more than two object connection for rooms and workplaces we adapted the csv import.
With this release administrators are now able to manage se:connects objects with multiple connections also via the csv export and import function.

The following bugs have been fixed in this release:

Synchronization issue of office 365 subgroups

The issue where synchronization of AD groups did not start automatically according to the scheduling in the tenant configuration, has been resolved with this release.

Wrong room booking cancelation notifications

In the past, we had an issue with users receiving cancellation notifications for room bookings, which could have been fixed in the latest release. Unfortunately, there were some rare edge cases where it was still possible for incorrect cancellation emails to be sent.
This version also resolves these special cases.

Apple stops supporting PWA for iOS

According to the announcement, that Apple will stop supporting PWA (progressive web apps) we'd like to inform you, about the consequences for the se:connects application on iOS.
Even after the rollout of the new iOS version, which is announced for the beginning of March 2024, it would be possible to link the se:connects web application to the iOS home screen. Unfortunately it would not be possible to receive push notifications directly on the Apple device anymore.
