Showing people count in map
If an office is equipped with smart devices that are able to count people in an defined area we can connect them to se:connect application. Actual Meraki sensors and Steinel sensors are supported for this function.
Whit this release there is an extended function available that makes it possible to display the count of people in the se:connects maps.
So the users can see which parts of an office are crowded, when looking for a workplace to book.

Extended permission to see all objects that are available
With this release there is a new permission role available “GetAllBuildings”, with which it is possible to see all objects of a tenant e.g. buildings, rooms and workplaces, even if the user is not part of the team, that is authorized to see these objects.
Users with this permission are authorized to see the booking and occupation status of all rooms and workplaces, but are still not allowed to book it themselves. They still only can book those objects the team, a user is allocated to, is permitted.
This role is not meant to be assigned to normal users. It’s for administrators and 24/7 map users only, who need to see the status of all objects.
Changing in required Azure permission for AD and Office365
The required permission that is needed to read calendars of Office365 users has changed with this release.
Now the “delegated permission” is sufficient to ensure the AD and Office365 synchronization. Previously only ”Application permission” was accepted.
